Graafian follicle, corpus luteum, corpus albicans, oocyte, nucleus, nucleolus; corpus luteum of pregnancy

Uterus:  perimetruim, myometrium, endometrium, uterine glands, functional layer, epithelium (what type?)

Vagina:  tunica mucosa (non-keratinized stratified squamous epithelium and lamina propria), tunica muscularis, tunica adventitia (elastic/areolar CT)

Testis:  tunica albuginea, capsule, septa, seminiferous tubules, interstitial cells, spermatocytes, sperm (spermatozoa); epididymis

Penis:  urethra, corpus spongiosum, corpora cavernosa, central artery, dorsal artery, dorsal vein, central vein, epithelium (what types?)

 

Blood/Heart

Cardiac muscle

Blood smear: RBC, platelets, leukocytes: PMN (3 names), basophil, eosinophil, lymphocyte, monocyte

Aorta – large elastic artery, 3 tunics & their constituent tissues

Other blood vessels – layers, etc.


Urinary System

Ureter: epithelium, muscular  wall, tissues

Kidney: glomerulus, afferent arteriole, efferent arteriole, Bowman’s corpuscle – parietal/somatic layer & visceral layer, macula densa, juxtaglomerular cells, proximal convoluted  tubule, loop of  Henle, distal convoluted tubule, vasa recta, peritubular capillaries, medulla, cortex, medullary ray, cortical column, tissues IDs

Urinary bladder: epithelium, muscular  wall, tissues

 

Digestive System

Salivary glands

Trachea:  pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium, hyaline cartilage

Lung: bronchus, bronchiole, terminal bronchiole, respiratory bronchiole, alveolar duct, alveolar sac, alveolus, capillary, tar, latex in capillary, epithelia (what types?)

 

Lymphatic System

Lymph node: lymphatic nodule, efferent lymphatic vessel, afferent lymphatic vessel, hilus/hilum, capsule, lymphocyte

Tonsil

Spleen: lymphatic nodule, white pulp, red pulp, lymphocyte, erythrocyte

Thymus: lymphatic nodule, adipocytes, areolar CT
